Editing entries

How can I edit an entry?

Section titled “How can I edit an entry?”

On the group page, open the entry actions (or the edit control) for the row you want to change.

You can update:

  • Technical name
  • Base term
  • Context info

You need a role that can edit entries. Changing the technical name updates the key used in exports, so update your code if keys are referenced there.

Moving an entry to another group is not available in the web UI. Use the CLI if you need that workflow (note: a CLI move recreates the entry and does not keep existing translations).
