Managing projects

A project represents your product. You can create a project for each product you’re developing. In a project, you manage the labels and their translations.

Additionally, you can add other users to the project to work collaboratively on the product.

To create a project, go to the dashboard. It is the first page you see after signing in. On the upper right corner you find a button to create a project. A dialog will open.

To create a project, you need to give the following information:

  • Name: Give the project a readable name
  • Base language: What is the main language of the product, it will become the fallback language

The language must be a language code like en-US or de-DE

After confirming, you will land on the project page.

When opening the dashboard, you can see all projects you collaborate with. Those can be projects you are owner of, or projects you are a member of.

When somebody invites you to work on a project together, a info box will appear, where you can accept or reject the invitation.

To update the project settings, go to the project page. You will find the settings button on the upper right corner.

Then you will see all the details of the projects you can modify. There you can e.g. add languages to the project.

Simply click on the information you want to update, and a dialog will open.

In the project settings page, you will find a delete button on the bottom.

Only the owner of a project can delete a project.

After clicking and confirming this button, the project will be deleted. It will delete all groups and entries within the project.
